Raj saheb himself had organised a grand book exhibition titled ‘Maharashtra Dharm’ on Shiva-teertha. Many celebrities visited this exhibition; Bharat Ratna Sachin Tendulkar had read out a poem penned by his father Late Prof. Ramesh Tendulkar. Dignitaries like Lata Mangeshkar, Babasaheb Purandare, many poets, authors, editors, etc. had keenly attended this function.

Similarly, various cultural programmes are organised for providing a stage for many famous and rising Marathi artists to perform their art. When the Indian cinema industry completed its centenary in 2013, the Maharashtra Navnirman Cine Workers’ Front had offered Insurance policies to many artists and technicians; as also providing financial help to senior artists.

MNS leader Shri. Bala Nandgaonkar had held a coaching camp in Mumbai in order to train them to become self-reliant in protection. Maharashtra Navnirman Sena organises food festivals in megacities to facilitate epicureans to enjoy dishes from Kokan, Vidarbha, Marathwada, North Maharashtra, West Maharashtra, etc in one place. Maharashtra Navnirman Sena organises Misal Mahotsav (Misal festivals) to let people relish the tasty and tempting Misal from various parts of Maharashtra in one place.

MNS Chief President Raj Thackeray attended a mass wedding for 500 tribal couples in Maharashtra’s Boisar today arranged by Thane MNS Shakha. He performed ‘Kanyadaan‘ for one of the brides and later handed over the marriage certificate to the couple. Over 2,500 guests and 25 priests were part of the wedding ceremony.

MNS Chief Secretary Rita Gupta has organised a ‘Free Cancer Diagnosis Camp for Women’ from various parts. These camps cover breast examinations. Pap-smear test, HPV test, Ear-Nose-Throat (ENT), as well as blood pressure tests. Under the ‘Cleanliness My Right’ mission by Maharashtra Navnirman Sena, we established toilets in various Adiwasi padas (tribal settlements).

Similarly, sanitary napkins is a right of women and girl students. Therefore we installed sanitary napkin vending machines in various colleges in Mumbai. Maharashtra Navnirman Sena had vehemently persuaded the Government of Maharashtra to change their outlook toward this subject from taboo to sensitive. The party pursued the subject right up to the Union Finance Minister to cancel GST on sanitary napkins, make it necessary to install sanitary napkin vending machines in schools, colleges, and universities, and to make provision for a certain fund toward this social mission in the national budget.

At the time when the H1N1 pandemic had hit Maharashtra, the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena had organised a prolonged workshop in Pune. Maharashtra (Navnirman Sena) warriors also rendered commendable medical service during the COVID-19 pandemic too. Similarly, various health camps are organised by the party like blood donation, daily check-up, eye-care camps, etc.
