Maharashtra Navnirman Sena MLA Shri. Raju Patil made an entire hospital available for treatment on COVID-19 patients. MNS leader Shri. Amit Thackeray distributed 10,000 facemasks and PPE Kits for doctors and medical staff treating COVID-19 patients.

Maharashtra Navnirman Sena supplied nutritious, energetic food to doctors who were serving for 12 hours at a stretch once putting on the PPE kit and therefore could not find a break to eat meals. MNS Leaders started supplying grocery and essential items in many parts of Maharashtra. To facilitate treatments on other ailments, MNS members started a programme called ‘Doctor at Your Doorstep’.

Maharashtra (Navnirman Sena) warriors began the distribution of immunity-boosting medicines and sanitizers. Even though the common citizens were homebound due to lockdown, to reduce trouble for the sanitary workers, government staff, police forces, etc on duty, the Maharashtra (Navnirman Sena) warriors offered assistance to the administration. Maharashtra (Navnirman Sena) warriors were at the high vigil to ensure that any COVID-19 suspects or other patients were not deprived of treatment. Shri. Raj Saheb Thackeray was, along with observing activities run by various MNS warriors, was contributing with suggestions to the state and central government.

Maharashtra was being seared by drought between 2013 and 2017. Forget irrigation, there was no drinking water available, the sub-terrain water level had hit rock bottom. Farmers were forced to let their cattle go afield. Water needed to be supplied by train from one district in Maharashtra to another. In such dire circumstances, Maharashtra Navnirman Sena stepped in to set up fodder camps in many parts of the state; and water reservoirs were created at key places.

Water was supplied to remote villages by tankers, villagers were given tanks to store water, wells were resurrected by removing silt. Maharashtra (Navnrirman Sena) warriors followed up with the administration to make sure that the aid provided by the government reaches the villagers.

The same Maharashtra warrior that rushes to help in the event of heavy downpour also reaches our to the forefront to help when there’s a cloudburst in Uttarakhand or natural disaster in other states of India. Maharashtra has seen that the medical aid and assistance was sent to Nepal after the earthquake by Maharashtra Navnirman Vahtuk Sena (transport division).
