The CM Uddhav Thackeray called for an all party leaders meet keeping the coronavirus pandemic situation in mind.
Along with other party leaders of Maharashtra, I too put up a few recommendations and points.
Hoping the government looks into all these seriously.

● The last one and a half months, our police force is working day and night, thus they are exhausted. To give them some relief, the State Reserve Police Force needs to be put into action. This will help our police force get the much needed rest and also keep a check on the anti social elements.

● Travel arrangements to their native places need to be made for the students who came to Pune from various parts of the state for the competitive exams.

● All the migrants who have gone back to their states, a code of conduct will need to be followed whenever they do come back. They will need to undergo a thorough medical check up and inter state migration labour registration before entering Maharashtra. This will ensure that the disorganisation that had taken place till now, will not be repeated.

● Those businesses or industries that might be affected due to the loss in labour due to these migrants going back; in such sectors, priority then should be given to the youth of Maharashtra. This state government should give this information of the job vacancies to the entire state.

● The education year will commence from June. How are the schools going to start and when? The clarity regarding this issue needs to be communicated so that the parents don’t remain anxious.

● There is a dearth in the availability of the protective gears for the government employees, the municipal workers, cleaning staff. This needs to be looked into with adequate supplies of these kits.

● To stop the spread of this virus, the lockdown was implemented. How is the government planning an exit plan for the same? Instead of announcing right at the end, a phased out plan for the lockdown needs to be designed. Till the vaccine is not found, one can’t always be in a Lockdown situation. That’s not the right solution.
